Throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, it is often said that there isn’t a family who hasn’t been touched by cancer. For over 20 years, the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation has been “Making More Possible” for cancer patients and their families.

We are privileged to be able to share the below piece with you – stories of cancer patients, their families and perspective from some of the staff from Eastern Health’s Cancer Care Program. They have each had their own unique journey with cancer and all generously agreed to share how cancer has impacted their lives.

In celebrating National Cancer Survivors Day this coming Sunday, June 5, we celebrate the cancer survivors and their families to whom we have had the privilege to support along their journey. ■
