Each year, Eastern Health holds their Annual General Meeting where accomplishments and challenges relating to Eastern Health’s strategic priorities are highlighted and discussed. This fiscal year brought to a close Eastern Health’s 2014-2017 strategic plan, Together We Can, and now the organization has embarked on the new Strategic Plan for 2017-20, Lighting the Way: Navigating Together, that outlines the goals and objectives for the health authority over the next three year’s. Eastern Health will continue to be guided by the strategic priorities of Access, Quality and Safety, Population Health and Sustainability; and a newly added priority, Healthy Workplace, which focuses on employee wellness and engagement.

In the lead up to this year’s Annual General Meeting, we are sharing last year’s overview video that highlights some accomplishments achieved by the organization in 2015-2016.

This year the Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carbonear Long-term Care Facility, Main Entrance Centre Block, in the Multi-Purpose Room (1C036A). Employees and the public are welcome to attend.
